Mrs. Etta Agnew, 5 East Webster Street, entertained Friday evening complimentary to Miss Clara Hepner, who will become the bride of Harry Orchard, Tuesday, June 30. The guests included the twelve members of the Sunday school class of the Presbyterian Church taught by Mrs. Agnew, of which Miss Hepner is a member. The rooms were prettily decorated with pink roses and the guests spent a most delightful evening in an informal social way with games and contests. The feature of the affairs was a novelty shower. The bride-to-be received many useful gifts from her friends, who also presented her with pretty cut glass water set. In serving a lunch, Mrs. Agnew was assisted by Mrs. Arsepta Treadwell. Miss Hepner is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Hepner, 211 East South Street, and Mr. Orchard is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. N. Orchard, 11 East South Street.
