Uncle Peter Carter, who lived three miles northwest of town, died last Monday and on the following day was buried in the cemetery at Burns Chapel. He was 68 years of age, and for a few years has been afflicted with paralysis. Rev. Dye, of the U.B. church, preached the funeral sermon.
