Relatives received word here the first of the week of the death of Lon Young in Des Moines. Funeral services were held here Saturday afternoon at the Kale Funeral home, conducted by Rev. Clarence Moore, with interment at the Young cemetery.

Transcriber Notes: State of Iowa Death Certificate states Lon W. Young, date of death: 12/29/1952 at Broadlawns Hospital. Lon may be a nickname for Leonidas. The middle initial was listed in 1900, 1920, 1940, and 1950 US censuses.
