June M. Laws, 72, of 3700 E. 31st St., died of a heart ailment Friday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. The body will be cremated and Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Burial of the cremains will be at a later date.

Mrs. Laws was born in Truro and lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of New Testament Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Roma Israel and Lola Watkins, both of Des Moines, and Dorothy Gardener of Euless, Texas; two sons, George of Leon and Standly of Des Moines; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Eastside Church of the Nazarene.
