Jill Suzanne Chambers, daughter of Arthur S. Shreves and Maxine (Neuman) Shreves was born April 26, 1948 in Des Moines, Iowa and passed from this life, suddenly, Friday, January 17, 2025 at St. Charles, Iowa at 76 years of age.

Jill grew up in the St. Charles area and graduated from I-35 High School and furthered her education at Drake university. Jill married Lynn S Chambers on August 6, 1982 in St. Charles, she has been a lifetime resident of St. Charles. Jill worked for U.S. West for 27 years and then Wells Fargo for 10 years before retirement. You could always find Jill at Hope Lutheran Church on Sundays. She loved her Bible study groups and made many friends there that she cherished. Jill enjoyed traveling and she and Lynn enjoyed vacationing at Anna Marie Island in Florida.

Those relatives who preceded Jill in death were her parents, Maxine and Arthur Shreves.

Jill leaves to cherish her memory; husband, Lynn Chambers of Saint Charles, IA, son, Kyle (Ashley) Chambers of Des Moines, IA, grandson, Aidan; step-son, Todd (Desma) Chambers of Webster City, IA, grandsons, Steffen, Cody, and Sawyer; step-son, James Chambers of Johnston, IA, grandchildren, Morgan and Colton, step-son Aaron (Mary Kay) Chambers of West Des Moines; as well as other relatives and many friends.

Services will be held at Lutheran Church of Hope 925 Jordan Creek Parkway West Des Moines, IA 50266 with Chaplain Pam Avaux officiating.

Jill's family will greet friends prior to services on Wednesday also at Lutheran Church of Hope.

A live stream of the service will be available at kalefuneralhome.com on Jill's tribute wall beginning at 11:00 am on Wednesday.

Interment will be in the St. Charles Cemetery, St Charles, IA at 2:30 PM on Wednesday

Memorial contributions may be directed to Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines
