M. R. Tyler Joined Ranks of Benedict Monday. Will Live in Knox House
The wedding of Miss Mildred Hanna to Malcolm R. Tyler took place at the Methodist Episcopal church at Winterset on Monday, October 7, the Rev. Feist performing the ceremony. The couple were accompanied by a sister of the bride, Miss Vesta Hanna, a cousin, Miss Juanita Fox, both of Corydon, Henry Osmond of Lansing, Michigan, and Leonard Alspach of Kansas City, Missouri. The double ring ceremony was used.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Hanna. She is a graduate of the Corydon high school and for the past six years has been society and assistant editor of the Corydon Times-Republican. She was one of the leaders of the younger set in Corydon.
The groom has been employed at the Kearney Pharmacy here (Exira) during the past eighteen months. He is a graduate of the Ellsworth high school and prior to coming here was an employee of a drug firm at Sibley. During the time he has been in Exira he has made many friends and all wish him happiness and success during his married life.
Mr. and Mrs. Tyler came to Exira the first of the week, but left Tuesday for Ellsworth and Sibley for a short visit. After the 15th of this month they will be at home in the Kirk H. Knox residence property in the Heights (Exira).
