A few days ago a ten year old son of John Powers, of Lucas County, was bitten through the finger by a rattlesnake. About four hours after the boy was bitten Dr. Wilson arrived and applied internal remedies, but reported him in a critical condition when he left. The reptile was found and killed. It was a large on having six rattles.
