Aleck Brookhart, who has been employed at the county farm the past two months, suffered a stroke of apoplexy at that place yesterday morning, Nov. 13th and died shortly afterward at the age of 64 years. He was well known over the county, having been raised at Letts. The past several years he resided in Muscatine until he came to the county farm to work. He was industrious and a man of exemplary habits. Funeral services will be held from the Oak Grove church Sunday afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. Boice.
