Grandview, April 24 - Minnie, daughter of John and Mary Zimmerman, was born at Grandview, Iowa, Sept. 24, 1868 and passed away at her home in Letts, Iowa, Tuesday, April 16, 1907, at the age of 38 years, 6 months and 22 days. Nov. 5, 1906, she was united in marriage with M. C. Ross, who with her mother, six brothers and two sisters survive her. She was converted and united with the M. E. church at Grandview early in the year 1856 and on her marriage became a member of the church at Letts. Facing a critical operation, the result of which was necessarily doubtful, she expressed herself as being at peace whatever the outcome. So while we have sorrow, yet it is not as those who have no hope. The funeral services were conducted at he home by Rev. W. A. Longnecker at 2 p. m. Thursday. The remains were laid to rest in the Letts cemetery.
