MARRIAGE TO TAKE PLACE AT MARSHALLTOWN TOMORROW

A marriage of interest to a large number of Muscatine people will take place Wednesday morning of this week at 10 o'clock at Marshalltown, Ia., when Miss Millie Horton, daughter of Colonel and Mrs. C.C. Horton, of that place, will become the bride of James M. Brockway, of Letts. Miss Horton is a former Muscatine resident, having been born and reared here until her father's appointment to the position of commandant of the Old Soldiers' Home at Marshalltown, where she removed to that place with her parents. The groom is a prominent resident of Louisa county, and at the present is republican candidate for state representative from that county. A notable incident in connection with the coming marriage is the fact that the fathers of the bride-elect and groom-elect, Col. Horton and E.F. Brockway, were both members of the Iowa legislature in 1874. Miss Horton has made numerous visits at the home of her uncle and aunt, E.W. Horton and Miss Sarah Horton, at their home on Fletcher avenue, during her residence in Marshalltown.

After their marriage, they will take a wedding trip to the Dells of Wisconsin, in an automobile, after which they will make their home at Letts.

Among the out-of-town guests to be in attendance at the wedding will be Mrs. E.F. Brockway, Mrs. Libbie Darrow, Miss Alice Brockway, Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Letts, Miss Adelia Letts, all of Letts, and Mrs. George Remley of Koehler, N. M., Miss Sarah and E.W. Horton of Muscatine, and Mrs. Vinnie Letts Turkington of Loveland, Col.
