The remains of Dan Turner, who was killed by Gus Trainor at Prairiesburg, were exhumed last Saturday and taken to Monticello for post mortem examination. The action was necessary owing to the inactivity of the officials of Boulder Township, who should have performed that duty immediately after the death of Turner. The proceedings of the inquest are kept a profound secret, but a rumor is circulated to the effect that if the attending physician had understood his business Turner need not have died.
