A wedding in high life occurred here at the residence of Isaiah Hale, Wednesday afternoon at 5 o'clock. The contracting parties were Miss Sallie Hale of this city and Mr. W. B. McAshen of St. Louis. Only a few relatives and friends witnessed the impressive ceremony, which was performed by Rev. L. O. Housel. A number of elegant and costly presents were received. The happy couple left for St. Louis on the evening train bearing with them the best wishes of their innumerable friends. The "lady in the case" has been one of the brightest adornments of our society circles and is beloved by all who know her, while Mr. McAshen is an enterprising business man of St. Louis, who well deserves such a charming bride. We tender our hearty congratulations.
