Algona, IA. - Services for Ruby P; Walton, 64, of Algona, formerly of Des Moines, who died of emphysema Saturday at Good Samaritan Center, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery here.

Miss Walton was born in Algona and lived in Des Moines from 1945 to 1972. She retired as a secretary for the Iowa attorney general's office and previously worked for Meredith Corp. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and First Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Marjorie Apple of Algona and Pauline De Kruif of Sheldon.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Geilendeld-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home.

(Contributor's note: Ruby was the daughter of Floyd and Grace Turner. She was first married to Edward Melville Boyce in 1943 and later to Frank Walton.)
