In re: Estate of Christian Bell, Deceased.

Now, on this 12th day of November, 1907, the last Will and Testament of the above named deceased, having been admitted to probate, a true, correct and complete record of the same is now ordered recorded herein as follows, to-wit:

In the name of God, Amen.

I, Christian Bell, of Whittemore, Kossuth County, Iowa, being of sound mind and memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made.

First- I order and direct my Executor, as soon after my decease as practicable, to pay off and discharge all debts, dues, and liabilities that may legitimately exist against me at the time of my decease.

Second- I give and bequeath unto my wife, Maria Bell, my town property, the following described premises, situated in the county of Kossuth and state of Iowa, to-wit: Lots seven and eight in block number seventeen as shown by the recorded platt of the village of Wittemore, Kossuth County and State of Iowa.

I also give and bequeath unto my aforesaid wife my timber property, the following described promises, situated in Palo Alto County and State of Iowa, to wit: containing (4) four acres all in Lot No. (1) One Sec. (16) Sixteen Township No. (94) Ninety-four North of Range No. (31) Thirty-one West of the 5th P.M. Iowa.

I also give and bequeath to my aforesaid wife all money and notes due to me as a livelihood as long as lives in her widowhood. I also give to my wife the exclusive right to distribute according to her own judgment all property and money remaining at her decease among my daughters: Anna Bell Wilson, Ida Bell Kuecker, Maria Bell Kuecker and Amanda Bell and Emma Bell Philipps.

Third- I declare my daughters, Sophia Bell Thompson and Minna Bell Krebs as being exempt from any further inheritance, they having received their share.

Fourth- I further nominate and appoint my son Carl Bell as Executor of this my last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this 27th day of February, Anno Domini 1906.

The above and foregoing instrument was at the date thereof signed and declared by the said Christian Bell as and for his last Will and Testament, in presence of us, who at his request and in his presence, and in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as witnesses.
