Wedding Nuptials Occurred Last Week

Lakota: Wednesday at high noon at the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Swea City, occurred the marriage of Hazel Marie Roalson of Swea City, and Geo. Kenneth Wallentine of this place. Rev. Raymond Swanson, pastor of the church, united these young people by using the single ring ceremony. The young people were attended by Miss Alice Peterson of Ringsted, a friend of the bride, and Theo. Wallentine, brother of the groom.

Before the ceremony Clayton Roalson sang “I Love You Truly,” and after the ceremony Miss Martha Holcomb sang, “More Love To Thee.” The couple will go to housekeeping in a new house that has been built recently north of town where the groom is farming in partnership with his step-father, J. H. Holcomb. Guests from here who attended the wedding were Mrs. J. E. Ukena and daughter, Dorothy, Mrs. J. R. Heetland, Mrs. Walter Hans and children, Nadine and Loren and Mr. and Mrs. C. O. Peterson.
