A Randolph Sasseen (15) was in the 1956 Iowa census with his mother Elizabeth (36), both list Tennessee as birth place. Other family members listed were Hannah (14), Susan (10) and Hester (7). In the 1860 US census Randolph (19), Hannah (18), Susan (14) and Hester (12) are listed alone. Each of the census reports lists Richland Twp, Keokuk County, IA as place of residence. I find no census information for Randolph in a family with a father.
