We can start with some of the simple or basic information.
I see only one Bedell in the WPA and that is a Rock L. Bedell (1853-1909) buried at Riverside. Looking at the Riverside transcription online I see several Bedell's but no Edward/Edmund. You say he died in Olin and usually people would be buried at the Olin Cem but no Bedell's listed there.
The 1925 census shows a Alice (age 62 born PA) married to a G.M. Wolfe. Lists her parents as Edmund Bedell and Kezia Moorhead. This was in Olin but doesn't mean the parents lived there.
1856 Fairview census shows a Edwin Bedell age 27 born NY and wife Mary age 19 born OH.
The 1900 and 1910 census for Jones County don't show a Edmund or Edwin/Edward. Only Goeoge, Harry, Rock, and a Jennie, all in the Anamosa area.
Are you sure that he died in Olin?
There is only one Edmund Bedell listed for any state during the 1900-1910 census. He was born in NJ and lived in San Francisco, CA. Age 82 in 1910.
By chance there is also a younger one showing up in the 1920 census (age 30) born NY and living in Cleveland, OH.
There are several Edward Bedell's in the 1910 census but without knowing his age, will be hard to zero in.
What other pieces of information do you have? Children or siblings? When and where he was born?
