I may be wrong, but as I read the census and other records through the years, Mervin Matthew Sinclair married firstly Fannie May Sutherland 14 March 1894. Margaret Adella 'Della' Sutherland, a sister of May, had previously married James Olmstead 27 December 1882. She Della, is shown as divorced in 1900 census living with her own Sutherland family. Floyd Sinclair is living there too because his mother May had recently passed away, c1899. Mervin his father is on his own elsewhere. Gracie Sutherland is a dau of Della after her divorce from Olmstead. In 1910 Floyd is still living with his aunt M.A. Sutherland, Della and his father is living with his Mervin's brother and family.
