Hi Michelle, I do still have Harvey's reader. He is the son of Harm & Deborah Oltmanns, who are buried in Jones Co., Iowa. They were residents of Scotch Grove. I did end up finding Harvey's obituary and learned that he died of "brain fever" - probably spinal meningitis or something similar. Still hoping for photographs of the family, though - 5 years later.

I wonder if the Iowa Oltmanns are related to your Oregon relatives, though, because I did find Harvey's reader in Portland.
