I have Sarah Jane Voohries d/o Samuel Niles Voohries (1830-1916) and Deborah Ann Ireland (1839-1906) born October, 1859. This must have come from a 1900 census by the format but no death date on her. She married July 3, 1879 in Rome (Olin), IA to Alexander Starry s/o Jabez Starry (1831-1910) and Eleanor Simpson (1834-1884). Again same situation only showing he was born May 1858 and no death. So she was 20 years old married to man less than a year older than her.

You may have been thinking of Alexander's grandfather also named Alexander (1802-1852).

Still need her sister's (Hattie Starry Ireland) information also.

Who do I contact to get Ceneter Cemetery lookups? I am surprised they were not listed on the Jones County website and the address for Rosalie Ahrendsen bounces back.
