I have not information on any of the names you inquired about; however, there are some similarities. My Nicholas GLYNN, and his brother Patrick, arrived in Jones Co. about 1840. I believe they were from Co. Galway, Ireland, because on Patrick's headstone at St. Peter's in Temple Hill (he's buried with Thomas & Bridget LEONARD), it says "All Natives of County Galway, Ireland".
A Catherine BURKE was a sponsor with Patrick GLYNN to a Margaret GLYNN, born or baptized on 2 Feb 1845, dau. of John & Cecelia GLYNN at St. Patrick's in Garryowen, IA. I have not been able to establish a relationship between John, Patrick, and NIcholas GLYNN....yet.
Did Thomas HEAD live in Washington township, Jones Co.?
