Pioneer Cemeteries in Jones County

I am the Vice Chair for the Jones County Pioneer Cemetery Commission. It has been brought before the Jones County Supervisors, that the Commission draft rules and guidelines for burials in Pioneer Cemeteries. A cemetery which has had 12 or fewer burials in the last 50 years, changed from 6 in 2009. Most of these cemeteries were abandoned and records are not around any more.

Specifically an individual wants to be buried in Johnsontown.

Any thoughts or opinions on this would be appreciated. Please indicate if we can share them with the Supervisors.
