Mrs. C. Kreeb was buried Saturday
Funeral Services for Mrs. Christiania Kreeb, 89, were held from the Goettsch funeral home Saturday afternoon, February 13, at 2 pm Rev Paul T Gutknecht, Lutheran pastor, has charge of the services. Burial was made at Oakwood Cem.
Mrs. Kreeb died Wednesday evening, February 10, following a fall three weeks before, of which she suffered a fractured hip.
Mrs. Kreeb was born 8/23/1853 at Milan, Ill. On Feb 13, 1877, whe was married to Michael Kreeb, who preced her in death. Other survivors are a son, (Fredreick) William Kreeb of Monticello and a daughter, Mrs. Katherine Clouse of Olivia, MN 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral Home says: parents: Joseph Ammann and Magdelena Weiser. She died at the home of Mrs. Guy Hogan. I do not understand why Mrs. Hogan is not mentioned in the obit.

If I were a betting person, I would say that Mikel (John) Kreeb died in Minn between 1910 and 1915.

Christina Kreeb Lot 552 (she is alone. Her marker is a funeral home marker buried in a small amount of cement.)

Fred W. Kreeb, Jr 6/9/1986(janitor at High School)
Fredrick W Kreeb 8/27/1965
Mary I Kreeb 4/12/1985
Sylvia J Kreeb 4/7/1993

The Frederick that died in 1965 may have lived in Cedar Rapids, IA. The minister at his funeral was from there. I could not find an obit for him in Monticello.
