Gerd Dirks married Freidericka Hermine Schoene on 3/27/1899. They are buried at Wayne Zion in lot # 33, graves 5 and 6. Gerd born 1868, and died 1952. Freidericka born 1880, and died 1960. Their son George Henry Dirks married Alvina J.Kray on 11/15/1922.

Alvina J. Kray was born in Strawberry point on 10/16/1903.Alvina and George had three children, a son Marion who died befire Alvina did. When Alvina died she had two daughters still alive, Deloris Feldman, and Darelene Moncrief. George and Alvina are buried at Oakwood in Monticelllo. George died 7/9/1968. Alvina died on 11/9/1999.
