I am searching for additional information about my great-great grandfather's brother Ramsey Henriksen. He immigrated to the US from Denmark in the 1870s, first to Adams County, Wisconsin, and then to Jones County, Iowa. He married 3 times; 2 of his wives are buried in Riverside Cemetery. I believe 2 or 3 children are also buried there.
I am also trying to locate more information for Gus and Christine (Henriksen) Weylandt, and Martin and Hannah (Henriksen) Matesen (or Madsen). While Ramsey remained in Jones County, IA, until his death (it is presumed), his sisters and their husbands (and Ramsey's twin brothers Hans and Harvey, and his parents Hans Mikkel and Karen) moved to Adams County Wisconsin in the early 1890s. Hans and Karen ran a boarding house in Stone City around 1889 or 1890.
Ramsey was superintendent at the State Penitentiary Quarry for 23 years, and worked in the stables of Senator Greene before that.
Any information on any of these people would be helpful!
