Funeral services for Virginia Ahrendsen, 67, Olin, will be held at 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, June 8 at the Olin United Methodist church, with burial in the Mayflower cemetery at Oxford Junction.

Mrs. Ahrendsen died June 5 at the Anamosa Community hospital following a sudden illness.

She is survived by her husband, Leo; 3 daughters, Marcia Nielsen, Bondurant; Kathy Houstman, Tipton and Sandra Less, Salt Lake City, Utah; 2 sons, Lynn, Clarence and Alan, Anamosa; her parents, William and Lydia Foy, Wyoming; 2 brothers, Jim Foy, Davenport and George Foy, Oelwein and 6 grandchildren.
