Last rites for Mrs. Herbert (Florence Marie) Lehrman, 71, were held at St. Paul's Lutheran church, Stanwood, Nov. 6 with the Rev. Maurice Lind officiating. Burial was in the Stanwood cemetery.
Pallbearers were Howard Cruise, Carl Levsen, David Butterworth, Stanley Allen and Clyde and Clarence Taylor.
Mrs. Lehrman died at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, Nov. 4.
The daughter of George and Matilda Zimmerman Mardorf, she was born in Jones county Oct. 13, 1914. She graduated from Anamosa high school and taught 2 years in the Scotch Grove rural school. She was married to Herbert Lehrman at St. Paul's Lutheran church, Stanwood, Aug. 21, 1935.
The couple farmed in Cedar county, then purchased the International Harvester dealership in Olin. They continued to live on the farm until 1964 when they moved to Olin. They remained in the implement business until 1978.
Mrs. Lehrman was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church, Stanwood; the Olin Garden club and the Kozy Klub.
She is survived by her husband, 2 sons, Marlyn, Wyoming and Everett, Olin; 3 daughters, Mrs. Paul (Betty) Bendizen, Marion; Mrs. John (Elaine) Gallus, Delano, Minn. and Mrs. Thomas (Joyce) Doll, Onslow; 16 grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Delena Schladetzky, Wyoming.
