Cascade Pioneer, Published in Cascade, Iowa on Friday, August 16th, 1895
The Cascade friends of Bob Abel of Monticello will be pained to learn that he severely and probably permanently injured one of his hands last Monday. He fell down a cellar stairway and cut the tendons and veins in his wrist. The loss of blood and pain accompanying the operation necessary to re-unite the tendons are very hard on Mr. Abel. He is improving.
