Mr. G. W. Lovell was quite seriously hurt a few evenings since when passing down the court house steps to the pavement. It was dark and his unfamiliarity with the steps led to the accident. So severe were his injuries that he was unable to appear in court in the suit in which he was the defendant. We understand he is recovering, having returned to Monticello this morning.
