Michel Elizabeth Stafford died peacefully at home Friday, January 17, 2025.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, January 24, 2025, at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the funeral. Internment will be later at Ascension Catholic Cemetery in Libertyville, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Iowa PBS at www.iowapbs.org

Michel was born April 25, 1951, in Lake Forest, IL, the daughter of Rollin Tippet, Jr. and Barbara (Rieger) Spector.

On December 1, 1990, Michel married Richard Houser in Mt. Prospect, IL.

Michel is survived by her husband, Richard of Coralville; her sisters, Kristin Tippet Shay (Kevin) of Venice, FL; Elizabeth Tippet of North Liberty; Megan Sullivan (Patrick) of Coralville; Adrienne Tippet of North Liberty; nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Michel was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Rollin L. Tippet III.
