Betsy Ann Schulze, 68, of Iowa City, passed away on January 7, 2025, at Solon Retirement Village.

A private burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Iowa City. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Chatham Oaks Inc., 4515 Melrose Ave, Iowa City, IA 52246.

Betsy was born on May 22, 1956 in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph M. and Mary Ann (Szaywa) Schulze.

Betsy was a sweet soul who was always pleasant and kind to others, without a word of complaint. She lived in the family home on Highland Avenue for many years and worked as a nursing assistant at Lantern Park. She enjoyed watching televised sports and game shows.

Betsy was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Mary Ann Schulze and her brother Dennis Schulze.
