Respects Old AgeJudge Dewey performed a marriage in the District Court at Newton under peculiar circumstances. The groom, George E. Russell, was 75 years old and afflicted with palsy; the blushing bride, Nancy Marquette, pleaded guilty to fifty years, and it was her third marriage. The jurymen insisted that court kiss the bride who, like Barkis was willin’, but his honor did not avail himself of the opportunity.
