The body of Nicholas Dex, who was drowned off the steamer Nellie Wilson, some three or four weeks ago, was recovered yesterday, at this place. From appearances he must have caught on a snag near where he jumped into the river, as his wrist bone bore evidence of having been entangled in something of that kind.
