Maquoketa; is a native of Warren Co., N.Y., he grew to manhood there, and came to Iowa in 1863, and located in Jackson Co., just south of Maquoketa, and engaged in farming and stock-raising,he owns a good farm of sixty acres. In June, 1872, hemarried Miss Marietta E. Wilcox, a na ive of Clinton Co., Iowa. They have two children--one daughter, Luella, and one son, Harry.
