OAK HILL IMPROVEMENT
Cemetery Now Enclosed with a Fine Metal Fence.
The Oak Hill trustees and the Cemetery Association have reason to feel proud of the fine fence that now runs the entire length of the front. The fence is of woven wire and heavy steel posts, and all the posts are set in concrete; the high arched gateway is of becoming design and the inscription "Oak Hill" is in metal and may be seen for a long distance. The work of erection was certainly well done, as the first glance at the improvement at once suggests the skilled workman and the artistic taste.
We understand that the fence cost $600. Of this amount the women of the association paid $225 earned and collected by the women at different times. The money as commissions on the sales of chautauqua tickets was not used here.
