First Baby Of The Year Arrives
Seven days after the beginning of the new year, the first baby arrived at Ida Grove hospital. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Lee Schuett, Ida Grove, the 8 lb, 12 ¾ oz. boy was born at 5:45 p.m., January 7. Named Peter Lynn, the infant has two brothers, Randy, 6 and Scott, 4. The baby qualifies as winner of the “First Baby” of the year contest sponsored by local merchants.
