Brockett-Eaton.
The marriage of Miss Evelyn Brockett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Brockett of 1434 East Thirteenth street and Mr. Hugh N. Eaton, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Eaton of Cresco, took place Thursday afternoon at the home of the bride’s parents at 3 o’clock with the Rev. W. C. Cole officiating.
Thirty guests witnessed the ceremony, among them Mr. S. R. Brustman and daughter, Eveleyn, of Topeka and Mr. L. Chestnut of Ames.
The bridegroom is a graduate of the engineering department of Iowa State college at Ames. He leaves today for his new position with the Worthington Pump Machinery company at Buffalo, N. Y. Mrs. Eaton will join him in three months.—Des Moines Register, July 4, 1919.
