MARRIED.
At the Cresco Methodist parsonage Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 26th, 1919, in the presence of a few friends, Miss Ella R. Peterson of Florenceville, Ia., was united in marriage to Mr. Michael E. Scanlon of Harmony, Minn., Rev. E. G. Copeland officiating.
The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of ivory satin with a bridal veil caught with orange blossoms, and carried a bouquet of bride roses. She is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Peterson of Florenceville. The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael P. Scanlon, is an industrious young farmer who has for the last three years managed one of his father’s farms a little east of Florenceville. Both of these young people are well known and highly esteemed in their home community and have the best wishes of a large circle of friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Scanlon will begin housekeeping at once on the farm about three and a half miles east of Florenceville and will soon be at home to their many friends.
