MARRIED.
MILES-JONES.
A quiet home wedding occurred Monday, August 12, 1918, at four p. m., at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Jones of Saratoga, when their daughter Thelma was united in marriage with Glen D, Miles, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Miles—a prosperous farmer of Saratoga Twp. The young people have always known each other, in the same school and taking part in the same social activities. The ceremony uniting the two was said by the Rev. C. W. Hempstead, pastor of the Congregational church in the presence of the families concerned, and an aunt of the bride. After the ceremony luncheon was served and a social hour spent in conversation. The well wishes of the entire community follow the couple in their journey through life together.—Riceville Recorder.
