MARRIED.
CROUCH-KEUNEOn Monday morning, 11 o’clock, July 22nd, 1918, Mr. J. Wilbur Couch of Dodge Center, Minn., and Elberda L. Keune, Cresco, Ia., were united in marriage at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Walters, the bride’s grandparents.
The bride is well known here, being the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Keune. She will be greatly missed by her many friends in this community when she leaves.
The groom is a handsome young man and a successful farmer near Dodge Center, Minn., at which place they will make their future home.
While the large phonograph pealed forth beautiful strains of music the bride and groom entered the parlor where the guests were assembled, and the impressive ring ceremony was performed by Rev. J. R. Nolte, pastor of the Evangelical Church. After which a splendid three-course dinner was served. Sweet peas were used in decoration.
The event is doubly noteworthy as on this day 44 years ago Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Walter, the grandparents of the bride, were united in marriage.
They left at 12:55 in the afternoon for St. Paul and Minneapolis on their wedding trip.
Their many friends join in wishing them a happy married life.
