MISSING HEIR APPEARS
Stranger Claims Portion of $100,000 Estate
At Mt. PleasantMt. Pleasant, July 22-Claiming to be one of the two m missing heirs of Thomas G. Rook, who died in 1909, worth more than $100,000, a man giving his name as Thomas Lincoln Rook walked into the office of the County Clerk here today and nonchalantly said he would like a part of the estate.
He said his share amounted to a few thousand dollars, he wasn’t sure as to the amount, but “felt it would come handy just now.” He said he had lived in Omaha for the last eight years.
Rook’s estate had been administered with the exception of two missing sons, of whom the claimant today said he was one.
