Mrs. Christen E. Tysdahl

Olava Theodora Mosness, the daughter of Ole and Malene Mosness, was born in Fister, Stavanger, Norway, May 28, 1860, and passed away Wednesday, March 18, 1931, at 5:10 p.m., at the age of 70 years, 9 months and 20 days.

She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith, and was an active member in this church until her death.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Christen Evenson Tysdahl, October 2nd, 1930, and an infant daughter.

She leaves to mourn her departure eight children: Mrs. Martha Newhall, Mrs. Mabel Bishop, Mrs. Eva Orton, Mrs. Clara Elwick, Peter, Edd, Alfred and Gene; sixteen grand children; a brother, Peter, and sister, Mrs. Lena Skeie, both of Norway, besides a host of other relatives and friends.

She was a loving wife and mother, a light in her home, who has left beautiful memories to those who are left to mourn her.

The children are giving a sum of money in memory of Father and Mother to the Santal Mission. Mrs. Ed Hanson of Eagle Grove to the Innermission Federation; Mrs. Osmund Danielson and children to the Old People's Home at Story City; Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Peterson to the ladies aid of Our Savior's Lutheran church at Radcliffe.

Funeral services were held at Radcliffe Saturday, conducted by Rev. B. K. Barstad, assisted by Rev. S. O. Heidahl and Rev. H. E. Jacobson of Williams. Pall bearers were: Peter Bly, Nels Ullestad, Halvor Hinderaker, B. W. Benson, Soren Skeie and Wm. Maakestad.
