Mrs. E. E. Bonar died Saturday

Funeral services for Mrs. E. E. Bonar were held Tuesday from Calvary Baptist church in Forest City with the Rev. Charles Curtis officiating.

Mrs. Bonar died Saturday. She had been a patient at Forest City municipal hospital.

Olson funeral home was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Madison township cemetery.

Mrs. E. E. (Mabel) Bonar was born Nov. 5, 1885 at Garner, daughter of James Jenson and Polly Nesbit. She attended school in Hancock county and became a member of Calvary Baptist church in Forest City in 1902.

June 14, 1911 she was married to Ernest Bonar. The couple established a farm home in Madison township and lived there until December of 1966 when they moved into Forest City. They celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary in 1962.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. M. J. (Lucille) Pitkin, Mrs. Jesse (Janice) Toavs of Hopkins, Minn., seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Ada Clemence of Missoula, Mont., and Mrs. Wilma Witt of Henning, Minn.

Preceding her in death were her parents, a sister Mrs. Lillie Johnson and six brothers, Floyd, Milton, Howard, Rollie, Denton and Cherden.

Vocalists were Mrs. Ralph Johnson, Milo Pitkin Jr., Rosalyn Toavs and Alson Toavs was organist.

Casket bearers were all grandchildren, Jerome Erdman, A. R. Kuns, John Trail, Lyle Johnson, Ralph Johnson, Richard Johnson.
