MARRIED
Thursday evening, Nov. 12th, 1903, at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. A. S. McConnell, of this city, by Rev. J. O. Thrush, Miss Anna Kloss McConnell and Mr. Ernest P. Gates, of Fort Dodge. Mr. Gates is engaged in the dry goods business with his father. He is a young man of excellent character and promise. During her short residence in Webster City, Miss McConnell has made many friends. She is a young woman of high accomplishments, is greatly admired by all who know her. The home was beautifully decorated with chrysanthemums, American Beauty roses and smilax. Immediately after the ceremony a delicious five-course dinner was served.-Webster City Journal
