Charles Olmstead is my 1st cousin 3 times removed. He is the son of Charles T Olmstead of NY and Laura Field of Genesee County NY. He was in fact a drummer according to the 1870 census that shows him and 2 other young men as such, living with his bling physician father Charles and Laura (Field) in Green Lake County Wisconsin. If he was in the Civil War??? I am looking for any connections to the Olmstead, Grant and Field families. I have loads of info on the Field family.
