checked the census found only 1 child....
1995 did not find Linton in Hamilton Co., Iowa

1900 McLean co, Illinois, Downs twp,
Miner B. Linton, head, Oct 1869. Illinois'
Cora, wife, Mar 1974, b. Indiana
John, son, Nov 1890, b.Illinois

1910 Kingsbury co., Iroquois twp of South Dakota.

Miner B. Linton, head, age 40 b. Illinois
Cora, wife, age 31, b. Indiana
John A., son, age 19, single, b.Iowa

1920 Census Beadle Co, South Dakota, Banner twp.
Minor B. Linton, head, age 50, b. Illinois
Cora T., wife, age 46, b. Indiana
(No Children listed)
