Death of Mrs. Morgan

Thursday, April 19th, occurred the death of Mrs. Fred A. Morgan at her home in Cedar Rapids, after a prolonged illness, succumbing to the effects of a surgical operation. Mrs. Morgan was a former resident in this vicinity, born at Lakins grove December 20, 1864. She was a half sister of Mrs. Eva Welch of Jewell, and has numerous friends and acquaintances in Hamilton county. For the past fourteen years she has lived in Cedar Rapids where she was married to Fred A. Morgan in 1906.

The funeral services were held Sunday, April 22, a large concourse showing their tender sympathy and respect for the bereaved family. Mrs. Eva Welch of Jewell was among the relatives present at the funeral services.
