Heir to Big Estate

Webster City, Jan. 3. – E. J. Meller, of this city has just fallen heir to part of an estate in Germany worth several million dollars. Mathris Meller died recently in the fatherland, leaving an immense estate, to which there are several heirs. E. J. Meller is one of these. He has just been notified by the First National Bank of LaPorte, Ind., where the other heirs reside. Meller is a bookkeeper here. He was a stockholder in the Stroyhmeyer Shoe Co. which became bankrupt lately.
