Wearing a gown of tangerine crepe trimmed with black chiffon velvet and accessories to match, Miss Isadora Marie DeMoss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.E. DeMoss, of Blairsburg, Iowa, became the bride of Wenzel A. Albrecht, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Albrecht, of Kewaunee.The ceremony was performed at the First English Lutheran church Saturday afternoon, Sept. 22, at 1:30 o'clock by Rev. Philip S. Dybvig. Mr. and Mrs. C.S. Tucker, brother-in-law and sister of the bride, were the attendants. Mrs. Tucker was attired in a gown of brown crepe trimmed with brown and gold taffeta. Both wore corsages of roses.
A 6 o'clock dinner for members of the bridal party was served at the Tucker home following the ceremony.
The bride was graduated from the Blairsburg high school in 1933. Since her graduation she has made her home with her sister and has assisted Mr. Tucker at the Cook studio.
Mr. Albrecht is a graduate of Lawrence college and attended the Chicago Musical college. He is the instructor of violin in the city. They will reside at 1135 Clark street.
Mrs. Albrect was not only graduated from the Blairsburg high school, but was also born near that town and had lived there all her life. She is widely known in that community where she has a host of friends who will extend congratulations and best wishes.
