Cade-Snyder Marriage

Miss Mattie Cade and Harvey L. Snyder were married Thursday morning Feb 10, 1921 at the Methodist parsonage in Webster City, Rev. Chipperfield reading the ring service. Mr. and Mrs. Cossell Snyder, parents of the groom, were present at the ceremony.

The Cade family moved to Illinois, when Miss Mattie was a child and she lived at Decatur until six years ago when she came here making her home with her grandmother, Mrs. Zane Ferrell and with Mrs. James Cheyne of Webster City. By her pleasing and unassuming manner she has made many friends.

Harvey has lived here practically all of his life coming here from Nebr. with his parents. He graduated from Blairsburg high school in 1912 after which he attended business college at Fort Dodge. He was called to service May 28 1918 and left for Camp Dodge, later going to Camp Mills; he went to France in August with his company and was there until he received his honorable discharge

Jan. 31, 1919. He is a popular and industrious young man holding a position in the Streveler garage. Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Snyder went to Buckeye, Thursday evening to visit at the home of the groom's brother Dallas Snyder for a short time. The newlyweds will occupy their own home Mar 1st. Mrs. Snyder was the recipient of a beautiful silver service tea set sent by her grandmother from Decatur.

The Leader joins their many friends in wishing them a long an prosperous wedded life.
